Peg City Showcase brings competitive Manitoba club teams together for a series of high-level fall competition weekends, giving athletes the opportunity to test themselves against strong opponents and compete toward the Showcase Championships.
Players participate through independent basketball clubs and must earn a roster spot with a participating team.

Peg City Showcase is a competitive circuit for 14U-17U club teams.
Unlike a traditional weekly league, Showcase competition is concentrated into three weekend sessions during the fall season. Each team plays three games per session. Results contribute to season-long Power Rankings, which ultimately determine seeding for the Showcase Championship Tournament.

Players do not register for Showcase teams directly through Peg City.
Your club determines its team roster, player fees, practices, tournaments and other team-specific details.
1. Showcase Sessions
Teams compete in three scheduled Showcase weekends during the fall.
Each team plays three games per session.
2. Power Rankings
Game results are used to rank teams throughout the season.
Every Showcase session contributes to the Power Rankings, giving each game meaning and creating a season-long competitive race.
3. Showcase Championships
Following the final Showcase session, Power Rankings determine seeding for the championship tournament.
Teams then compete in a single-elimination playoff for the Showcase title.

Showcase competition wraps up in the fall, but clubs can continue competing through Peg City with the Spring Target Score Series.
The Spring Target Score Series runs from April through June for 11U-18U club teams and provides another season of structured competition with a different game format.

Rather than simply playing until the game clock expires, teams compete toward a predetermined target score. Every game ends on a made basket.

1. Join a Competitive Club Team
Peg City Showcase does not assemble individual teams. Athletes participate through independent basketball clubs.
2. Earn a Roster Spot
Clubs conduct their own tryouts and determine their team rosters.
3. Register Through Your Club
Your club determines player fees, practices, uniforms, tournaments and its overall season program.
4. Complete Required Peg City Registration
Once your club registers its team, parents receive an invitation to complete the required Peg City player registration.
Only properly registered and rostered athletes are eligible to participate.

No. Players participate through independent club teams and must first earn a roster spot with a participating club.
